Before forming Dot 1 Tactical LLC, Dan Frerichs worked 10 years as a police officer between Anchorage PD (AK) and Everett PD (WA) including Patrol, FTO, Instructor, Marine Coxswain, Recovery Diver, and Detective .
Recently he was tasked with training officers on a tire deflation technique that many considered unsafe and impractical. In Feb. 25' he invented the push-on Tire Deflator (patent pending) which solved those problems.
Dan spent months tweaking the design and printing and testing models to ensure they pushed on quickly, successfully deflated the tire, and would stay on if the vehicle fled.
After finalizing the design, he formed Dot 1 Tactical, LLC and is finding new problems to solve using his custom 3D printed designs.
